Our Level One, 200-hour Teacher Training begins with a focus on 40 classic asanas. You will develop a thorough understanding of the correct structural alignment of each posture, techniques for maintaining a strong inner focus, and methods for using the breath to move in and out of each pose.
In the second half of the training, we focus on developing your ability to teach. Building upon the foundational knowledge of the asanas, learn to plan classes, develop vinyasas (posture sequences), and offer adjustments. Students take turns teaching other students and receive expert guidance from experienced Shambhava instructors.
