Karma & Circular Breath Project

Final Project Details (Due January 19th):

1. Write and Record A 500-Word Essay/Presentation:

• Write on the topic of karma, reflecting on the deeper yogic perspective we’ve explored in class.

• Alternatively, you may choose to write about circular breath, detailing and mapping it out in depth. Both are excellent topics!

2. Record a 5-10 minute Guided Meditation:

• Teach a 10-minute circular breath meditation.

• You can assume your students already have some context for the circular breath from a prior introduction. Start guiding them directly, mapping out the breath pathway briefly (e.g., bringing attention to the third eye, throat, heart, etc.).

• Don’t feel rushed—take the time you need to guide the practice effectively, even if it goes a bit over 10 minutes.

3. Upload Your work to the comments section of this page

4. Give Feedback:

• As always, listen to and respond to a couple of other students’ projects to complete this week’s assignment.

Teaching Focus: Crafting Heart Opening Introductions

This week’s dharana is all about writing or giving an incredible introduction to your presentations. Be sure to read the short essay on how to create an engaging introduction—it’s posted above the project submission area on the website.
