Homework
Thank you for an amazing class! It is a joy to be with each of you (I’m already dreaming of a reunion in Hawaii….)
We have 2 volunteers for next week, thank you Denise and Anju! We need a replacement 3rd volunteer if anyone is feeling inspired, please email me! Same as last week, everyone else please prepare to teach 4-5 minutes based on your work this week :)
Here are some focal points for you over the next 2 weeks:
-start your personal practice with sensory rich rolling and place all your awareness on the sensations coming in, try to release the tendency to want to control your movement.
-try practicing on a blanket (even up to standing). What sensations do you notice?
- play with the heart beat test at least once a day. Catalogue your scores. When is it easy? When is it hard? Try to feel your heartbeat during your yoga practice and beyond.
-explore our restorative pose at least 4 times in the next 2 weeks for a minimum of 10- 15 minutes each session, longer is fine. Sometimes to try it: at the end of you personal practice, during a stressful day, when you need a break, when you need energy, when you need to calm down recharge. Focus on your heart beat.
-Keep working with the Dharana from today’s class:
