Homework

This week we are going to try something new for homework- we want to have more time for meditation and philosophy at the end of class, so we are going to incorporate our journaling into your homework assignment. I think this will be a great way to get more comfortable creating themes for your classes and speaking about them clearly :)

Your homework is 2 parts:

1) introduce theme (1-2 minutes)

Take 1-2 minutes to tell us what inspired you to make this sequence, consider how our journals normally go- things you noticed in the week, new sensation, this can be physical as well as energetic. think of it like when a teacher sets up a theme for class- why are we doing this sequence? where did your inspiration come from? what are you excited about?

2) Teach your sequence (5 minutes)

focus on what we learned in class- the 6 movements of the shoulders, associated exercises we did, and awakening the Serratus Anterior and associated exercises

Let’s avoid anything too strenuous (or offer options) and too much on the hands so we can save energy and support for the rest of class.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
