Homework
We are going to follow the same format as last week where you will take 1-2 minutes to tell us about your inspiration and then teach for 5 minutes.
This week, please focus on cultivating compassion in your practice and create a sequence that will help us find compassion for ourselves, especially as we wake up strength in the shoulders.
Here are some ways to explore compassion:
-finding physical space in the joints- keeping space even as the weight/ load increases
-finding subtle space with the breath
-exploring softness in the hands and wrists (keep exploring support that is available through pinky edge of arm)
-explore the use of blocks to help awaken the shoulders and modify challenging poses
