Your Warm-Up Project
Create a 10-minute warm-up routine for your asana practice with the following focus:
1. Calm the Nervous System: Use balanced breathing and take time to “arrive” on your mat.
2. Generate Inner Sensation: Incorporate rolling patterns to develop awareness and sensation.
3. Cultivate Deep Core Support: Practice un-weighting movements to engage your deep core.
Daily Practice:
Practice your warm-up daily to prepare for your personal yoga practice.
Project:
Record yourself teaching your 10-minute warm-up routine. Begin the video with a 1-minute journal-style introduction, sharing how your week has gone and your experiences with the warm-up.
Refinement:
As you practice, let your warm-up evolve and adapt over time to meet your changing needs.
