Thank you for your excitement and enthusiasm today! It makes it such joy each week to learn from you, share, and grow! Satyam will be updating the website with the new class, so that should be up Tomorrow Afternoon.
Here’s your focus for the week (in addition to continuing the explorations from previous weeks)
- Come out of your postures 1-2 inches and see if you can find more buoyancy, support, and mobility. We did this together in Parighasana and Goddess pose.
- play with slowly lifting the heel(s) in posture to strengthen the soleus, try to draw that energy up to the pelvic floor and beyond
-Pelvic floor- try not to control the pelvic floor, but notice any sense of gentle lift and release that occurs as you get springy and unite your 2 legs- explore how your 2 legs relate to one another and play with letting your legs work together in all poses instead of trying to stretch them apart
-psoas- notice tightness in the front hip and low back. play with the psoas release sequence at least 2-3 more times over the next week. We will be psoas strengthening poses next week, so for now let’s focus on finding softness first.
