Workbook and Reference Manual

Every lecture of your training is guided by a slideshow which you are encouraged to follow via your own personal workbook. The workbook can be used digitally, on an iPad for example, or can be printed and bound at your local copy center (It’s about 70, 2-sided, pages). The workbook represents the material that is expected to be learned during the training, as well as the cues for the postures themselves.

The “reference manual”, on the other hand, is more of a long term resource, containing more information for when you are looking for a deeper dive into certain aspects of the training. Though extremely comprehensive, well written, and researched— the reference manual is only updated about every ten years, which means that the information in it is not always up to date with what we are doing in our trainings. The workbook, though, is updated after every single training. This means that the workbook represents what you are expected to learn in this training, and it is expected that it will occasionally conflict with views of the reference manual, as it is being constantly updated and revised. Both are excellent resources, of course, but its important to know how they are different.

Both of these resources can be downloaded by clicking the link below. You will see 3 different files in the folder— One workbook that is meant for full page digital view, as well as the same workbook formatted for those wanting to print (It has two slides per page and room for notes). And last, there is the PDF of the Reference Manual, which is only presented in full page digital format.

As always, please feel free to reach out if there are any complications with this process. We’ll be using the workbook starting with the first lecture coming up.
