Day 24 • Grasshopper Mind
Let’s take five or ten minutes today to read a little more from Rudi and the Green Apple. As you read, try an experiment: bring awareness to your breath while you read. Can you stay connected to the inhale and exhale as your eyes move across the page? It might sound simple, but it’s a powerful practice of presence—and a great way to begin integrating breath awareness into everyday activities.
After your reading, we’ll continue exploring the breath through Puraka Rechaka Pranayama guided by Acharya Satyam, followed by a Ham Sah meditation on the theme of the “Grasshopper Mind”—that part of us that’s always hopping from thought to thought. This practice will help you notice, soften, and redirect that energy with greater awareness.
Journey Question of the Day:
What was your experience of bringing your attention to your breath while reading? What other activities of your day do you think you could notice your breath while doing?
