Day 12 • Nadi Shodhana – Breath as Balance
Nadi Shodhana & Japa Practice
Today you’ll be learning a classic and deeply balancing pranayama: Nadi Shodhana, or Alternate Nostril Breathing. This interactive breath practice is traditionally used to harmonize the two main energetic currents in the body—the solar (pingala) and lunar (ida) nadis—bringing steadiness to both body and mind. You’ll begin with a short tutorial to learn the technique step-by-step, followed by a longer guided practice to help you settle into the rhythm and benefits of the breath. To complete your session, you’ll be led in Japa meditation using the mantra Om Namah Shivaya, allowing the effects of the breathwork to guide you into deeper stillness and inner connection.
