Day 9 • Building Momentum

Everything is starting to come together here on Day 9!

You’ll begin today’s practice by spending a few minutes reading from Spontaneous Recognition, then move into some guided, mindful movement. We’ll take a little extra time for pranayama today as you learn the Three-Part Yogic Breath, a powerful technique that engages the thoracic muscles around the ribs, increasing lung capacity and soothing the nervous system.

Our meditation practice for the day will be chanting Om Namah Shivaya aloud together—a beautiful, heart-opening practice rooted in the Shambhavananda Yoga tradition.

It’s amazing how much fits into a simple 30-minute window when everything begins to flow!

 

Journey Question of the Day:
Was there a portion of the 3 part  breath that felt easy/ natural?  How bout challenging?  Pay extra attention to those two parts the next two days.
